Angry 96 Corolla OEM stereo install

OK, I realize I'm talking about putting a new stereo in an almost 10 year old car, but what can I say, I love my Corolla. I purchased a CD player on ebay that was "supposed" to work for my Corolla. When I got the stereo, I found out that the connectors were different. After a bunch of research, I was able to get the pinout schematics for the one I bought and found out it was used with an Amp. I think it originally came out of an avalon. Like I said, I have the schematics and figured I could just "rig" it to work, but there doesn't seem to be positive and negative pins on the schematics. There is just one pin for each speaker(instead of 2). Some folks have told me the amp takes care of the grounding, etc. Is it possible to "rig" this stereo and hook it into my Corolla or will it just not work. I have the mating connector and I was going to plug that into my car so I didn't have to cut any wires. Then I would just run the wires from that connector to the new stereo. If anybody has any advice/thoughts/feedback, I would really appreciate it. This stereo has been a friggen' nigtmare and although I've had mostly positive experiences on ebay, this one has been a bone job. The stereo is a Fujisu-Ten and the model number is 86120-08040. Thanks a million.

Speaker don't really care if the wire is +ve or -ve.
Next time try aftermarket deck with wiring harness. Unless the stock deck is an option for your car.

Thanks. But, I can't put the two speaker wires on 1 pin....that is what I'm saying...so do I have any other options. I know I could have done an after market player, but for the 96, you have to end up moving the stero down by the gear shifter. The install kit comes with a little pocket that goes where the OEM stereo is and the aftermarkets move down to the bottom by the ash tray. I've been down that route and didn't really want to move the location of the stereo.

My point/question above is that there is 1 pin for each speaker. A FL and FR and RL and RR. that is 4 total pins for 8 total wires(1 positive and 1 negative for each speaker).

You won't be able to use that cd player without the external amp that came with the avalon. Those 4 wires aren't powered they are just signal wires to the amp. Even if you did find a way to hook them up to some speakers there wouldn't be enough or any power to make them produce sound.

Get an aftermarket cd player and save yourself alot of grief.

In that case I don't think you can connect them to the speakers. They're low level signal. You'll need to find the amp also.
I believe you can fit the pocket lower and put the deck on top. The double din don't really care. I put mine on top in my Celica.
