Assuming I get these for free, I'd pick Tru. They're pretty looking and I could sell them quicker if I needed money.
I've heard one set-up using U.S. and several set-ups using Tru. The Tru set-ups were far better in terms of quality. This, of course, doesn't mean a thing. I can imagine quality set-ups using either brands. Off the top of my head, I think the U.S. Amps are more affordable. I remember one guy saying Tru was unregulated and made for a more dynamic sound, yada, yada.... I wasn't really listening as I was busy checking out his girl.
here are some things to think about, US amps was currently sold to an overseas company, so the quality of there product will probably decline. The older models 2004 and down are still made here and are unregulated, very power hungry. Tru amps cost twice as much, very effiecent, high end components and built in america too. I believe either amp will do the job you want it to do, just really depends on what your building SQ or SPL.
Another thing, US amps ratings are at 12V, tru's are at 14.4 V, but they both put out more power than specified. I have owned both, but I am currently running Tru's if that helps.

Damn I didn't know they weren't made here in the US. I was thinking about going with the tube amplifiers for my front components. Would Arc Audio xxk series amps be a better way to go?
I was thinking about going with the Dynaudio system 360 or the DLS Iridium 6.3.
Arc's design is by Robert Zeff, you know Zapco. Very nice amps, they are very warm sounding, I had the 4150CXLR and 2500CXL, love the 2500 with anID max, best combo I have ever heard. Arcs new flatline sub is a modified ID max, so you know these guys are doing something right. Unfortunately I wanted more power for my 6.3's, not saying they did not have enough power (4x85, more liek 4x100) but I was adding another ID max, so I wanted to bring up my fronts as well so went with a tru T03-4.150 (4x150). Otherwise I would be running ARC's. Arcc are assembled here, but the mother board is made overseas I believe.
Dyns or DLS both great speakers, cant go wrong with either one. I hear the Dyns are more edgy.

eddie do you know of any online TRU dealers? Or better yet about how much would I be looking at for a 2 channel amp for the front components and another for the IDMAX.
The Dynaudio site lists them as 200w rms so it looks like the t-2.200 v2 would be the right one. I know I can't afford the higher end stuff. How much does that amp go for?
The hammer H1 looks like the right one for one IDMAX or would that be too much power at 2 ohms 1000x1 rms.
How underrated are these amps?
