OK I think I've figured out my system

I think I finally have decided on what I'm going to do with my setup.

Headunit-Pioneer DEX-P9 and DEQ-P9

I have the Pioneer XDV-P90
6 Disc DVD Changer and the AVX-P700CD monitor already so I'll use those too.

For the speakers I'm going to go with the Dynaudio System 360 Which consists of an 8" midbass woofer, 3" midrange driver and 1.1" soft dome tweeter.

The amps are going to be the ZAPCO Reference 750.2 And the

ZAPCO Reference 1100.1

I'll also be using the Symbilink balanced signal system.

The subwoofers will be 2 Image Dynamics IDMAX 12"

The subwoofers and amps will be housed in a custom fiberglass enclosure utilizing the back seat area of the truck.

The wiring and distribution blocks will be a mix of Knukonceptz and Stinger.

The alternator will be replaced with an Irragi 220 amp unit, and the battery with a Stinger sp1000.

What's your address so I can rob your car? :P

That's some seriously nice stuff. You gonna be putting that into any competitions or shows or anything? Are you gonna do the install yourself or have someone else do it?

Thanks guys, I plan on doing everything myself, including the fiberglass work for the subs/amp. As well as the fiberglass work for the 8" midbass in the door.. Nate the 750.2 amp will power the front components which is 175 watts rms X 2. The 1100.2 will power the two IDMAX's sending them about 600 watts each. I hear these amps are underrated. I will enter it in as many shows as possible but it's mainly for myself. This will be my daily driver too, and I plan on getting the best alarm available and Lojack. BTW check out my other thread on what I plan on doing for the rest of the truck. Disregard those audio plans though, I think this is the way I'm going.

I thought I had everything figure out but I changed my mind

Im going with the DLS Iridium 6.3

It turns out that the mounting depth is alot shallower than the Dynaudios, they cost less, and they're supposed to sound better than the Dynaudio's.

I also decided to match the speakers with DLS amps

Also changed my mind from the headunit to go with the Eclipse AVN2454

Still staying with the IDMAX's but I may just run one after I hear it.

P9 combo to a 2454, are you nutz? Man I'd take that P9 anyday, but then again I am not into media systems. I can get you that 2454 for 1700 shipped. I also have a DLS A3 if your interested.

To tell you the truth I don't think my ears will be able to tell the difference between the two. The eclipse gives me Navi and DVD playback all in one unit. I'd still have to buy an external Nav unit if I went with the p9 combo. I think thats way too much equipment. And I'll be waiting til they come out with the 5 volt preouts. But I'll let you know when I'm ready for the Eclipse.

the P9 give muli slope up to 36db, you get independent left and right eq, just for those two that is why I would pic the pioneer. I am an sq guy so am a little biased. Dont get me wrong the eclipse will do a wonderful job, you just wont have tuning feature as much as the p9.

Yeah it's a great combo but I think it's too much for what you get. If I need the added tuning stuff I'll get an Audicontrol DQX in the future. I really want Navi for the type of work I'll be doing in the future and it just makes more sense that way since I'll have to add a NAVI unit.
