if im running two 12s from my corolla do i need a capacitor? if so what kind?

if you want one, check the farad rating of the capacitor. the more wattage you are running the higher capacitor rating you need.

You do not need capacitors. The only time you'll ever need a capacitor is if you are into SPL competition and you need that extra little bit of power.

If you do still have dimming after that then you would want to look into replacing your alternator with a High output Alternator and look into a Deep Cycle battery such as an Optima Yellowtop or a Stinger Battery.

If you are hell bent on buying a capacitor, buy a really huge ass one (like 20 farads) off ebay. Hell they're laffably cheap at this point compaired to retail prices!
