anyone use alpine speakers for the doosr and back deck

does anyone use alpines for regular speakers? just curious because we have an alpine HU amp and subs, and we love the alpine quality and sound and was interested in using alpine speakers for the 4 doors in the avalon

Yea I have them for my 6 1/2's and 6x9's, but I think I have the worst speakers possible. If you read the reviews for the models I have they all say no real bass whatsoever & ear piercing highs. But those are just the ones i'm running, i'm sure they make better speakers.

which series are you running? i dont want them for bass... i was gonna use bass eliminators since avalons use 4" all the way around. thats why i have the subs

4" even in the back?! No way!

Anyway, Infinity Kappa 42.5i's are great 4" speakers. I have some. Make sure you don't have them running lower bass than they can handle, or you'll blow them like i did mine.

Only 100?
I can't work with that j/p

The Kappa's are probably the best route with 100 bucks.

My sugg. would be to get a decent 4" comonent system for the front for around 150.
Then get some coaxials for the back.

I forget the exact model #'s but there the first Type S series when the Type S' were blue not sliver.
