and is it expensive?
if it was, people would still by dynomatt-type products, instead of buying peel & stick/seal

I would only use peal and seal on the floor of the car. It doesn't stick very well on vertical surfaces and on the roof.

Look into edead. Pretty good pricing with the 20% forum discount and is just as good as dynamat/dynamat extreme

P & S will stick just as good as many of the other deadeners out there(i.e. eDead, fatmat, dynamat) If you use a heat gun with it while installing and make sure to prep the surface well it will stick and be next to impossible to peel off. I usually get mine at Lowes and it comes in a 6" by 25' roll for about $12.

where can i get peel n seal? cause i went to two lowes and none or the 7 people i asked knew what i was talking about and i went to three home depots and they said they didnt carry it at all. ive been to ace hardware and some other local hardware shops and no one seems to carry it. the problem with the stuff online is im a minor with parents who wont let me use their credit cards to order stuff online. thus, i need to find a place that sells some kind of deadener cheap. cause best buy sells dynamat but its like 80 bucks for two doors or something. plus you guys say dynamat sucks. so yeah, where can i get a cheap/decent peel n seal or something like it?

i get mine at Lowe's, Home depot does not have the exact Peal N Seal but probably a different variety of it, at first when i went to Lowe's and ask the ppl there, they didnt know either, i just searched in the roofing area and found it myself, it was kinda hard to find because i went up and down the aisle couple of times before i spotted it, its small roll so thats why

okay, well if i ask the people in the roofing area and they ask me to describe it what should i say? cause everyone else asked me and all i could say was it was basically a sound deadener that reduces vibrations and also does other stuff...

but okay, lowes, roofing aisle, got it. ill go there when i get a chance. thanx

oh and also, ive heard you can use fiberglass to reduce rattling. not really interested in doing it myself but am curious as to how?

That doesn't look like the right stuff. Do yourself a favor and order some edead, it's cheaper than peal and seal anyways, and works alot better.

Check out this thread if you haven't already.

Here's what it will look like at homedepot.

If you are going to order the eDead and have any question on it you can email eD or go over to their forum at icixsound.com and ask some of the people there. Everyone there is cool and will help you as much as they can.
