Stock deck with sub/amp.

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with this.
I have never installed ANY audio equipment myself.

I am pretty sure I have everything I need to perform the isntall
amp w/wiring
sub
line level converter

So the question is...what do I do?
I know I have to splice the signal from the rear speakers but physically from where? The speaker wire leads from the speaker itself in the trunk , or coming out of the deck?
Any help would be appreciated!

Im guessing you have a corolla by your previous post. Is that correct? And what year?

Exactly what equipment do you have?

Yup its a 98 corolla LE with the double din cd/tape deck

JBL amp, RF sub
The amp is already wired and configured for the sub, I just have to figure out where all the other ends of the wires go.

You could splice into the rear speaker wires from inside of the trunk. You only need to tap into one speaker's pos, and neg.

This thread might help a little.
Basic Amp Install Instructions

Just to be sure the wiring is correct to the sub what are the model #'s? Just want to make sure you aren't driving to low of an ohm laod.
