off the hu for power of mids and highs...may uprade later on...
If you're going to upgrade to a high power amp for the mids and highs you might want to run 0/1 ga power wire so you won't have to upgrade later. If you're going for a Smaller amp for the mids and highs then the 4 ga. will probably be enough for both amps, use a distribution block of course.
4ga will do ya good like said. If you plan on adding another amp for your speakers later that is going to be anywhere above 300W or so than I would go a little bigger with the wire.

4 guage can hold up ~1000 watts or so, its still an over kill for that small amp.

how can it be too bad? as long as your amp can put out at least one/tenth of one single watt I doubt you would lose ANY power from using a larger wire!! I've ran 1/0, 4, 6, 8 on systems and the bigger the wire the better. You can even measure how much power is lost through your wiring by attaching a fast acting volt-meter between the batt+ and your amp+. If you use 1/0 guage and are putting out 3,4,500 watts or so you would only lose 0.10-0.20 volts or so, however if you were using like 8, or even 10 guage then you could be losing over 1 volt or more...
just go w/ the 4guage, no need to get the giant 0guage.... period.
future is future, he prolly wont upgrade to anthoer system for wnother yrs.
