Recently my OEM radio started only playing at half the volume it should when it is turned up all the way. I have no idea why its doing this. could it be the built in amplifier thats behind the glove box go out or something? i need suggestions to what i should do to fix this problem or if anyone has an idea why my radio is doing this now/ways to fix it/should i buy aftermarket and bypass it?

any thoughts or replies would be appreciated. thanks. -ib

Going aftermarket is going to sound alot better, providing it doesn't blow the stock speakers eventually. If you go with an aftermarket CD player I'd also look into changing out the stock speakers while doing it.

And if you do change the speakers spend more on the front's then the rear speakers.
