Sony P5's are decent. $150 can get you 2 - 12's and they will hit pretty hard. add about $100 for an amp and probably $50 for a box and $30 for a wiring kit and you are pretty much set.

cheap is never the best way to go, the cheapest good subs that i know of are the new JL W1's, prob about 125 a piece, or the Pioneer Premier 2000's are about $110 each on etronics.com, supposed to be good subs. But also look into Resonant Engineering, there RE series is cheap but really good or Incriminator Audio 187's, good also, But then you need an amp and you definately shouldnt go cheap on an amp. And i am intoxicated so im definately not as heplful as i normally would be.
I have some P5s and I hate how they play, they don't hit hard at all to me. My cheaper Audiopipe hits much harder than the Sony. You can get sony, mtx, rockford fostgate for pretty cheap.
Take a look at the Audio Que LW12's They are supposed to be pretty good and are only about 100 buxs a piece. As far as I know they are built for Audio Que by DD Audio so they should be built like tanks. Website is www.audioque.com

my buget is $100 for one good sub or two cheap subs
Are you looking for good sound quality with quick accurate bass or are you looking for a loud SPL sub that hits hard?? What kind of power are you going to be sending them, and off what amp? Do you have room to work with or are you limited in available enclosure space?
