Audio Volume too Low

Hi all,

I unplugged the battery for my car (04 Solara) and when I plugged it back in, the volume from the radio is too low (I have the stock Navigation System). Even when I turn it up to max, the sound is still barely audible while driving.

Is there something I need to do to reset the radio? Or did I blow a fuse for the amp? (it has factory JBL amp). Has anyone had this happen to them? I don't want to have to take it back to the dealership if it is only a fuse... IF there is a fuse for the factory amp, is it located on the amp itself or under the hood?

I think it will be the problem with your amp, right now you just power your speakers from you radio itself. your radio has too low power out put. and also don't just try to turn your radio to the max in order to have the loud volume, it is not good for your speakers. I would say you check your amp first. check if the amp works. I know sometimes the factory radio has some kind of codes for it, but I am not sure if you have this kind of problem
