I'm loooking for a new cd player for my 98 camry. It has a low end pioneer in it and I'm sick of the orange face on it and lack of features. So I was wondering what would be good cd player to get that doesn't cost too much ( i'm cheap so I'll less than 200)
For that price you could get a alpine, JVC, Pioneer, or Sony if your into Sony. It all depends on what all features you want. You could always go to crutchfield.com and compare the HU to see what all features they have compared to each other.
personally i dont think u should ever consider a sony.. they are a very unimpressive type of cd-player i would definatly not recommend them over anything else.. one reason i base myself on this is because sony lacks features and puts out false numbers on their products such as watts etc. thats just me.. alpine, kenwood, pioneer, etc. are all good choices though, plus u can get great features for about 200 bucks, word of advice... make sure u know what ur buying (research) feedback from customers, and recognition as a company, this will help u choose a great cd-player
go to www.etronics.com great prices , i have a Premier 860MP its a little out of your price range you stated but I believe Pioneers are great receivers, they have a great selection of Pioneers but they dont have any of the premier models, you can get the 7600 for about 220 and it has MP3 capabilities which i cant live without.
If you want something that performs decently well and does it in style, get one of these Panasonic decks. They have a large dot matrix display where animation screensavers can be played. The price is under 200 bucks too. Theres also 5v preouts in case you want to further upgrade your system. If you are interested in a Panasonic, you should go down to your local Circuit City or electronic store and check it out for yourself before you order online.
if your gonna get it pro done, then all you can do is go to the shop and look at the decks, because they usually charge a crapload to install a deck you bring in,

Well, I fianlly bought a new deck it's a pioneer deh-p3700mp. It wasn't that much. I've looked for a long time but couldn't really find anything that floated my boat. So today I just got fed up and bought a new one. It's alot better than the pioneer deh-205 that I had (selling it to one of my college roommates maybe) and has alot more features than my old deck. Thanks for the help and adivce you guys.
