Question How do I disable stock security alarm in my 1993 Toyota 4runner?

I have a 93 4Runner & the alarm automatically sets when you close the door. I want to abandon / disable the alarm completely. It’s very frustrating as you set off the alarm unless you put the keys in the ignition immediately. I’ve read the several other post which talk about getting / programming new remotes Etc. But I don’t need the alarm features anymore. I tried unplugging the control box under the drives seat & then the car won’t start. Any info or references to disable are appreciated. Thanks, Chris @ chrisdemps@msn.com
