the stock speakers are 6x9's up front and 6.5's (or close) in the rear. i believe cam2xrunner has 6.5's up front in his Xrunner. all you need is a spacer, which you would also need if you used 6x9's.

there is a thread on TS that outlines the door removal. basically only 2 screws then pull the panel off. one screw is right where the door handle is, i forget where the other one is.

tip: dont break door panel, they are expensive. lol, just take it slow if youve never pulled one off before.

The front door speakers are 6x9's, the rear are 6.5".

For the front doors carefully pry up the little cover inside of the door release handle cups. There will also be a screw behind the door handl/armrest. After you take those out you take off the A pillar panel AKA sail panel. When taking that off make sure you take the white clips off the door that will be there once you pull that panel off. If you leave those in and try to re-attach the sail panel you will end up pushing them into the door and you're SOL.

There wil also be a plastic anchor underneath the sail panel. You push in the inside of it for it to release, then pull out the anchor.

It's a good idea to roll down the window when taking off the panel, but not completely necessary. You'll probably want to roll it back down when reattaching the door panel to the door.

To take off the door you can either use a V ended screwdriver that is made for poping off panels, or you can just pull on the door at the bottom. Once you have popped the panel off the door you will lift it up and it should slide out.

I'd definitely take the time to deaden those doors with some edead or rammat. I used edaed v1.se which you can pick up pretty cheap right now.

Check out this thread for some pics and info on the install I did in my friends Prerunner. Access cab.

You can buy this adapter from Marv.

He sell them for 45 bucks plus like 7.75 for shipping. I'm going to be mailing him the tweeters so he can make a mounting adapter for the tweeter as well, which will probably sell for another 15 bucks or so. Email him to get exact pricing. Very good quality
