Question sub enclosure

i put one 10" sub in each of my side panels on my t100....i can hear the bass, but since its a free air system, it doesnt hit as hard as i want it. what would be the easiest way to seal the subs in the quarter panel without using fiberglass?

the chest hitting thump that you're looking for is usually found within the peaks of midbass frequencies.

In an Infinite Baffle install, you lose the upper end response.

i have no idea what a t100 is but either way you'll have some problems with sealing your sub enclosure. u can try some silicone based sealant but that only provides a tight airspace, for how long i cant say. the other issue is that the actual volume behind there might be too much or too little. oh and one more issue, if your side panel has some flex in it then the tonal quality and tightness wont be what you're after.

Cheers

well im going to have to bite the bullet and pull off the side panel and build the box to the truck piece by piece....its going to take about a day to do one box but it should be worth it. the sub wont be mounted to the panel, i'll have to cut away some more panel and have it be flush. thanks for everyones advice!
