Setting Stock Alarm / Glass Breakage Sensor, Need Help Please!!
Hi.
Newbie here as I just found this site. Awesome place.
I noticed that it has a shock sensor which is under the steering column,
slightly above the brake pedal.
Does anybody know how to iniatiate it? After arming the alarm, the LED does not blink and when I jump on the car with the alarm on or tap/hit the glass window, the alarm does not sound. Everything is connected right, meaning there is no lose hanging wires. Everything is secured tightly via wiretie.
I have also turned the dial, both ways but I am not able to get the LED to come on.
Part No: 00014-S0274
Looks like original Toyota Equip.
My question, does anybody know how to arm this? I know some people hate this feature but I would at least love to enable this feature on my car. It might be a RS3200 alarm (based on my research) and I have not been able to find any help doc or manual for the last 3 months. Anybody have any manuals? Anybody???
Test to see if ur alarm is even active, roll ur windows down, close the door, activate the alarm, then with ur hand unlock the door since the window is down and then open the door from inside, if the car alarm goes off, its active, if not then the whole system isnt active, and wat u have is just a keyless entry...
cant remember exactly but to my knowledge:
the sensor only send a pulse to the brain, thus not constantly sending signal.... so it doesnt blink nor turn on. it only turns on or blink when theres an impact.

tried tapping it with a key or hitting the glass but still, not getting the alarm to go off eventhough it is armed. I had the impression that the LED on the shock sensor unit will blink when it is armed..maybe I am wrong. Thanks.
what camera are you using? whats the settin youre using? looks really clear.
