Talking 2005 Camry's in dash stereo's replacement

Hi all...I just bought 2005 Camry and wanted to change its in dash stereo with something better like JBL, Pioneer or Alpine provided the steering controls work with them. Can some one please advise me which brand / model will work.

Thanks

Alpines CDA 9851 does it, but with "a third party adapter" which sounds alot like ebay to me. the 9853 and 9855 work as well. Just checked Ebay and the only thing I found was alpine's KCE-870B, some in line adapter or something (see it here,) but the prod description says its compatability is shaky, at best with cars that arent like citroen or peugeot or fiat. A matter to study... Thats alpine's take. I couldnt tell you about other manf'rs

What's your budget for a cd/mp3 player? This is a pretty sweet deal on an awesome headunit.

Budget is not an issue as this car cost me $52K in Pakistan so I would ike to have something that works with the steering controls (as long it works )

the 9833 doesnt support the inline idea, but the IR device in the linked post sounds decent.
whoa wait. That SWI-X deal looks dangerously like-unto the KCE-870B alpine device. What are they trying to pull?
