Everything is stock. I also found out the car had in the past sustained some damage to right rear quarter panel. The front driverside speaker and the rear passenger speakers do not work. I'm thinking a short from the damage. Where do the speaker wires run on the corollas? I looked quickly under the plastic cover on the rear passenger "kick" plate, the plastic piece where the bottom of the door seats against, and the wires were not there.

That's weird that you have a left and right channel speaker out... and on different sides of the car! Is it possible that you overdrove the speakers and blew them out?

My recommendation would be to replace everything and get a new head-unit, amp and speakers. That should solve the problem!

Yeah, we're all about replacing everything here. You cant go wrong with doing it all over. Might I say, go for Alpine?

Check the speaker itself for a loose connection, then check your head unit for the same.

Why do you guys always suggest to replace everything when you don't even know what the underlying problem is? What if the speaker wires may be pinched somewhere so even with new speakers, they may not even work. Please refrain from promoting your own propaganda unless the poster specifically asks for it.
