Canada Where to run wires?

Hi, I just bought a 1996 Corolla yesterday. I just installed a new deck, and I want to put an amp and sub in the back. I'm just curious to know the best way to run the power from the battery to the trunk, and the remote/rca cables from the deck to the trunk. I'm guessing I should go under the carpet somehow? If so, how do I get the wires under there? Any other options?

thanks

Chris

Under the door sills. They should come up very easily, just pull up on them.

There are numerous grommets and points to run the power cable through the firewall on your car, and just like Nate said, run the power down 1 side, and the RCA's down the other...or else you get noise...damn physics. Oh, and the door sills come up mad easy, just a flat head screwdriver to start prying them up, after the first one comes up, the others are easy. Welcome to the nation

Holy Bajezus... I just finished running the wires. Sorry Knailgun, but there were definitely not "numerous grommets" in my car. I ended up having to run the power behind the driver side fender; I found a grommet behind the driver side fuse box. I was going to remove the fender entirely to get access, but figured out I could nudge the piece that surrounds the wheel well over just enough to give me some room to feed the wire through. I took a few pictures, I may post them at some point.

Everything else was pretty easy, though I did break a couple of snaps in the process. Are these pretty easy to come by? Where do I get some?

Thanks for the help everyone!

Chris

well, at least you got the job done. The snaps aren't too bad, everyone breaks them. you can get them cheap at either Napa, or at the toyota dealership (which isn't too outrageous).
