Dide mine with leftover 4ga. Probably only took 5/6ft at most.

I did mine with 4ga. wire. I bought 10 ft. and that was more than enough. Currently I have mine off though since I chnaged by batt. terminals and it couldn't accomodate the extra wire from the chassis to batt.
i was looking around, and this was one of the easiest to get to w/o disassemblng some of the car. I was thinking about doing it on the alternator mounts, but i saw this and it looked like a perfect spot. Plus with the alterator id always be worried about hitting the belt. Plus that spot that ive circled is attached to a solid metal post that runs into bloc area.

OK, so far thanks to you guys i have 2/3 done
i got the fuse today and was looking to put the alt to bat one in. Unfortunatly i snapped the dust cover off the alt and tried and tried to get the bolt out. With no luck, it looks like this
I think its a 10mm as the rest of the electrical bolts.
If anyone has any ideas on how to get it out i would be much obliged
Cheers

is the nut just on there tight?? get a huge breaker bar and get that shit off and grunt while you do it, get some kinda WD40 or something and spray it on there carefully, dont get it all inside the alt.
