Door switch wiring ?

Ok i found the wires for the passenger and driver doors here is the question I have one postive and negative wire from the alarm module . Would I be able to use a chassis ground for the negative and the two single wires on the door switchs which I believe are positive and splice them together with the one positive wire from the mudule. Seeing how both are switchs and there grounded to the chassis .. I dont know you tell me am I wrong ...

Door trigger is a negative trigger. In other words whenever any door is open this wire (door trigger) outputs a negative signal (ground). Don't get this confused with the door lock/unlock triggers.

Toyotas use a negative trigger for the power door lock & unlock.

Use the negative power door lock & unlock wires from the alarm. Don't use the positive set.

For your sake, please stop guessing about polarity. Use a DMM and verify before you potentially fry something.

The door pin switch is normally open (NO). One of the pins on the switch ties to ground. The other pin does nothing till that door is open. When that door is open both pins on the switch connect together and goto ground. Each door has one of the these switches.

P.S. please stop creating multiple threads relating to the same thing (questions about your alarm).
