Hey welcome to TN.

Check out this pdf file from ww.installdr.com

http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs...PDF/869013.pdf

Make sure you get the wiring harness, to make it easier.

go buy the deck installation and wiring kit from best buy, and it will show you how to take your center dash apart in the directions.

Best buy is convenient, in that no one has to wait for shipping, but over time loads of money can be saved by using online vendors.
Oh, shoot I have a 93 cam. The screws are hidden by the plate surrounding the HU(s if you have the CD/Casette combo) that can be popped off with keys or a flat head screwdriver. But yeah, that link Cam mentioned (hes God around here ;P) walks you through it.

The anti theft part of the toyota factory stereo's is found IN the radios. There arent any wires connecting the alarm system to the head unit, its just that when the factory head unit loses power, it assumes it's been removed, and to prevent someone from stealing it the device locks up, and the radio will not play anything until you put in a code that either you or the owner before you set up (or failed to set up)
I've been taught to not use run on sentances.. Whoops.
My car alarm just hates me. I live with my faceplate under my pillow (though the subs are totally vulnerable)
