what do i need to install tv's on my head rest? i was thinking of getting a indash dvd player with a 7inch screen and 2 tv's on the head rest. can i install extra tv's using the indash player? how can i install these tv's?
You indash DVD unit usually has a hideaway unit that allows extra sources to be plugged in, so you should be able to install extra screens to it.
my in-dash TV actually has 2 inputs, and my in dash dvd player only has one output I ran through a soundstream video amplifier (1 input 5 output to TV's) but the key is using good RCA wires, if you pinch pennies your going to get engine noise
I forgot to mention..the 1/2 DIN DVD player he has and the screen cost him just under $400...much cheaper then an indash unit plus you get the custom look to it...

I just used a "Male Right Angle Ai-Net to Female RCA Cable." connected from a portable dvd player for my dvd setup.
I have a dvd player in my car and it cost me $15 total because I got the portable dvd player as a x-mas gift so all I needed to get was that connector and use my headunits aux jack. It's ghetto but who else has a dvd player that looks great and sound's excellent thru a car stereo for $15.
