USA Subs for a Supra

Just wondering do u guys think two 12" AudioBahn Ultra Excursion subwoofers(750rms)Peak (1,200) in an enclosed box would be too much for a 93 Toyota Supra?

I dont think you can go wrong with anything that furthers the coolness of a Supra. The choice of subs, however... Couldnt tell you if that was a good pick or not. I have a rather biased subwoofer consumer history, so I wont say anything along those lines.

many people are against audiobahn. although i have no personal experience with them, i have heard that they focus on the bling factor and the audio sucks.

there are many better subs out there, granted they may not be as pretty, but its your choice after all.

check out some of the other threads in the forum for good 12" subs. try image dynamics, jl, elemental designs, infinity, polk, alpine mmats, and obviously many more.

What's the most you want to spend on subs and amps and the enclosure? Oh and is your 93 a 93 or 93.5 with the newer body style?

too much? HA! depending on what u are using it for...for show, sound, or just personal listening...(price is also a factor)

i bought a friend's old setup of an mtx amp & 2 polk/momo 12's and they hit as hard if not hard than my buddy that spent $1500+ for audiobahn subs (2 12's SVC), 2 amps, and a cap (all audiobahn). his amps and cap are the chromed ones from AB and they look really nice but, i defineately got a better deal...

audiobahn costs alot b/c it looks good but if your doing custom setup and gonna hide the stuff y bother spend so much (unless they're sponsoring u )

First off, don't touch Audiobahn.

Sounds like you want it to be loud and hit hard, but good sound quality. You can go with one IDMAX12 or two

Some other subs to look into are RE XXX, Adire Brahma, Soundsplinter, Ascendant audio Avalanche 15"

One IDMAX retails for 450.00 at sounddomain. An eclosure can go anywhere from 50 to 125 bucks. Custom built for rear hatch can be more like 200.00

The DLS A6 would be a nice match for that sub, or for less, the Zed Audio Duece

You can probably stay under your 900 dollar budget if you shop smart.

If you a low price starter check out cewin vega. They make some bad ass subs for a good price. Not a lot people use them cause they don't know about them. Still one my favorite subs. A definite bang for the buck.
