Exclamation HELP ME! Wiring New Deck?!

Alright.. Well.. I am not 100% new to this but I did something and I'm in trouble. I was installing a new deck in my mother-in-law-to-be's car and I shorted out the radio as well as the interior dome light. First assumption would be the fuse. Checked it and it is still good. I even put in a new fuse and no difference. I put the stock radio back in and still doesn't work. However the lights in the stock radio work with the dimmer switch still but other than that it doesn't get any power. It's a 1995 Neon if you need to know that. Any help would be appreciated as she would like to have her radio and interior lights back.

re-check fuses both under dash and under hood. if it was an aftermarket head unit they make color coated wiring harnesses just for that. never ever cut the factory wiring harness. if it is not the fuses then check for lose or crossed wiring.

All the wiring is correct. I already had a wire harness installed. Hmm.. I never checked the fuses under the hood. Just the dash fuses. The wiring is all correct in the harness.

Just wanted to close this off by thanking 94celicast for his/her help :P It was the mini10a fuse under the hood. I was unaware they even had mini fuses under the hood. My other chrysler doesn't :P Thanks a lot though! The mother-in-law likes me again
