I would like to increase the amount of bass in my 98 Camry. Right now I have 2 100 watt component Power Bass speakers in the front and two 200 watt 3 way Pioneer speakers in the back. I was thinking about going Bazooka bass tube because I don’t want to spend a whole lotta money and I really don't care if I set off car alarms while I drive past =). I just want to make sure that it'll work and sound good before I commit the money. Ideas?

Well I knew a couple of people that had bazooka tubes and they sounded pretty decent. I have a bass tube, but it's not bazooka its audiopipe. Bazooka won't give you the best sound but they do get the job done. IMO
For what you want a double coil 12" Audiopipe will do just fine, two will be even better. I no longer have a huge system in the Camry, I'm just going to stay with a 10" MMATS Proffessional Audio Double Coil sub.
I love my audiopipe. I'm in the process of turning over my whole system to audiopipe. Also they aren't expensive, have great styling and play much better that alot of higher end stuff. It plays far better than my sony p5 sub. I have one and that gives enough bass, two would sound even better.
See, that sounds reasonable. What would get me is the installation. I've never done any audio installs before on my car, I always had it done professionally. The last time, it was at Best Buy (bad idea) and they really screwed it up. I live in Jersey so there are tons of car audio places that would do it, just finding a decent one is the problem. For the install, is it difficult to hook up?

Neither will an audiopipe

and thats half the price of the ID. then just get a 400 watt rms mono amp. ($100)
that and an 8 awg amp kit and your enclosure and youre ready to go
The sensitivity for this sub is 84! you would need at least 400 watts for this sub to perform the way it should. Not worth the money I say. The ID Max has a rating of 90, so even 100 watts to this sub will sound good. So saying that the ID V3 will be louder than the mtx if you ran the same power to each sub. Be smart and save your money, dont be so dam cheap.
