Red face Installing new CD player in 2001 Sienna w JBL Premium system

Hi! I hope you guys can help. I'm installing a new CD player in my Sienna and I need help with the wiring. I have matched up all the wires to the the new CD player (the speakers, the 12 volt constant and the ACC switched) and the player will now turn on and all the functions of it work except...there is no sound! The OEM player had 2 wiring harnesses going into it but of course the new one doesn't. All of the wires I have used so far have come from one harness. The other wiring harness only has 2 wires...a black wire and a yellow wire. I have no idea what these are for. Any chance they have something to do with me having no sound? Any help would be appreciated. I have scoured the internet and every wiring harness that I find does not match up with the one I have that came with the JBL premium system. Thanks

Does your Sienna have the extra harness' like the camry does in order to bypass the factory amp? If so follow the directions on that link.

No, I don't see any other harnesses back there. Do you think the yellow and black wires are related to the amp?

call you local install shops...I think that there is a PIE or METRA adaptor for that job..just a thought. Also...you're going to lose the steering wheel controls if you have them with this
