It is wise to know what a product is about before purchasing it, unless you have a good return policy available. This amplifier, luckily, sounds pretty beastly.
RMS @ 4-Ohm: 1 x 650-Watts
RMS @ 2-Ohm: 1 x 1300-Watts
RMS @ 1-Ohm: 1 x 2000-Watts

i think what he was asking was whether or not Hifonics amps perform as good as they say on paper. If bench tested at 1-ohm...will the amp really push out 2000 watts or whatever it says

I know previous Hifonics amps POUND, (zues, colossis, etc) and still fetch a pretty penny on ebay. not sure about the new ones but for a long time they were UNDER rating everything for competition I.E. if you amp sayes 200 watts at 1 ohm it could handle pushing 500w at 1 ohm, ya know what I mean?

the was one amp from Orion rated at 1 watt @ 16 ohms, but it was HUGE...lol and 1/4 ohm stable.

thankx for the debating guys. . .i hope this amp will perform like everyone says it will. I really want to take pics of my camry and make a name for myself here on the forums. I have a 40 farad batcap, 2 awg wire going to it, 2 12" mmat P.3 subs in a slot ported box. Gets pretty loud. Oh and i am running the old soundstream rubicon 1002 amp. i herd these was mean back in the day so i grabbed one and come to find out. . .it is solid. Thankx again guys for the help.
