correct way to wire speakers?

hey guys, i have a 93 camry, just got a set of diamond components, eclipse coaxials, and a nice 4 ch eclipse amp.. going to install everything soon but in the mean time i wanted to hear how the diamonds sound.. i am able to run them as coaxials so i did.. my question to you guys is this..

i took off the adapters for the wiring, and basically had the positive and negatives hanging.. i have the screw type built in xover on the woofer(which is detachable) and extra wire to run. what is the correct way to attach this wire to the screws? i just placed it underneath the screws and screwed them down.. am i supposed to use some time of spade terminal? thanks for the help..

also, if anyone has pics of the actual speaker wire being connected, please share!

Randy

what speakers are they d3's??

what amp is it? whats its rms x 4 at 4ohms?

what kind of headunit do you have

do you have subs too?

if you are talking about the external crossover like i think you are, you can use spade plugs or just cram the wire under the screw....if i were you tho
i would bypass the external crossover(came with diamond speakers) and use the amp's crossover, putting the front channel on your tweeters and the rear channel on your woofers/drivers....as for the eclipse coaxials put them on head unit power if they are going to be your rear speakers....they are only for rear fill
