finally turned on

yesturday i was finishing up adjusting the system in my buddy's van. he turned it up and it sounded good(specs:2x 12's 900watt amp and a hu all rockford fosgate cost: 400 they were on special) just out of curiosity i turned up my amp (pheonix gold 500watt i turned it all the way down cause of my kids) to medium. put in a cd and cranked it the whole back of my wagon vibrates the base can be heard 2 blocks down and my neighbor is like "that's f**ked up" the total cost of my system is 150 and that was for the hu only. the 12inch pioneer sub i found in the trash 5-6yrs ago the amp about a year ago and the box i built using wood from my grandparents kitchen that we renovated. the rca and power cables are all from the junk yard. i found another 12' that i need to fix it has the ability to be bridged to 2ohms and the rib is pretty big so i figure it should hit harder then what i have now if i turn it to full
