3rd Generation Newer Toyota Radio Fit?

just browsing eBay and saw newer Toyota CD player HU's for less than 200 bucks, and i was curious if i were to buy one (i dont really like the look of aftermarket radios) would the antenna still go up and down?

it should. hmm...here's a question i'd like to know..would the antanna for my camry do it go up and down with an after market?...I ask because i came from a tacoma . It should, right?

all you need to do is make sure the power antenna wire is connected.

with aftermarket radio, when you buy the harness for the radio, one of the wires is for the power antenna wire. this is for the motor, almost 99percent of the time it will work with no hesitation. with some toyotas you need an antenna adapter (only a few bucks) but yes it will power the antenna.

i have a 05 camry, i dont have to worry about that now, but my friend has a 93 camry, i hooked up his radio, and the antenna worked fine.
