Okay I am just looking for some suggestions some of yall may have. I'm putting 2 12" JL 12w6v2d4 speakers along with a 500/1 JLA amp in my '05 Taco. The guy at mobile one said he can pretty much do anything I want him to. I definately want to go with maybe a vinyl finish along with plexy glass so I can have some blue neon lights added. Looks are very important to me. I'm looking for something really nice and am willing to spend the extra money to have a nice custom job done. Here's the thing, the guy at mobile one can't really give me suggestions he said it's up to me and that I should search the internet for pictures to get some appearances that I would like. I can't find any so if anyone has any suggestions or some nice pics on what would look killer I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

check www.mtxaudio.com or www.qlogic.com ... they have custom enclosures..powered too..for a fraction of the cost of having one built

I do not recommend pre made boxes, they are junk and not made to mfgr specs. Have the enclosure custom made. Mr Marv can make you a very nice enclosure to your liking.

He gave me a quote of $115 with like 38 dollars shipping for a dual 12" box specific for infinity 12.1 perfects..

just giving this as a perspective on price

that is a very good price considering shops would charge you triple that amount for the same box.

i was going to get a cutom box made for my car that holded 2 12inch kicker l7's and the box was sealed from the trunk and they were going to make a hole in the rear deck panel so the air came directly into the car. my freinf has the same setup i was going to get but he has 2 orion 12inch h2's and i think his spl is 152db im not sure. the install cost 1100 for mine and that included a extra battery but that was way to much moeny. just look at some websites and see what u can find but its better to have a shop do a custom install for u

What did the shop tune your port that is going through the rear deck to? Please tell me you know this.

they didnt do it. i was to much moeny. but im glad u know what im talking about. most of the time people get confused with that..lol

what kind of tacoma?? access or double?
are you gonna take the back seats out?

do you want a sealed, ported, or bandpass box?
