In Dash CD player choice, help!!! JENSEN!!?

hey guys,

i have a 89 mr2, and i'm looking to put in a head unit... i don't wanna spend much money (because i don't have much), but i'd like to get the best features and quality for my money...

i was looking at a jensen head unit... anyone know anything about this?

check out crutchfield.com or somewhere else. You can get a much nicer HU than those for about the same price or a little more.

hey thanks man, but i really like trying stuff out before i buy, and a lot of stuff offered on crutchfield and car domain i cannot find in the stores...

anyone have either of these hu's?

check out a bestbuy...lotsa display models there that are available cheaper online...go pioneer, JVC (high end) or alpine...Jensen is crap

I have to agree wit knailgun, jensen is crap, i had a bad experience with them, after awhile they stop playing cd's that have minor scratches and they skip in bumpy rides. You can always go with Kenwood or Alpine they're always good.

best way to look for a hu IMO is
list the features you need, plans for expanding your system and then budget

jensen and sony arent good choices.

get alpine or something else

agreed...go with pioneer, alpine, or kenwood. jensen sucks, and sony isnt much better
