hooking up 3 woofers

okay i got my 2 channel amp but i ended up having 3 subs (they sent me an extra) so is there anyway i can hook up the 3 subs on a 2 channel?

What subs and what amp are you running?

I give up on finding specs for those things, do you know if the subs are DVC or SVC and what ohms?

ohm's law...V=IR...use it 3 12 ohm subs...wired in paralell will make a 4 ohm mono load for your sub, check the specs on the subs and the amp for capabilities

if they are DVC 4ohms subs...then you can bridge each sub (making each sub an 8ohm load) and then bridge it on the amp bringing it to 2.67 ohms on the amp

If this is what you have, I would wire the coils on each sub in series. Each sub will then be at 8 ohms.

Then wire the 3 subs in parallel to each other. This will give you 2.67 ohms. 8 ohms / 3 subs = 2.67 ohms.

Wire the subs to the amp in bridged mode. Usually left + and right - on the amp, check your amp to be sure.

Make sure your amp will do 2 ohm mono.
