Jeep Speaker Questions for Friend

I have a friend who rolls in a 02 jeep wrangler, a TJ.
He wants to do speakers all around. He has the soundbar. Essentially he needs 4 5.25 speakers. Running tweeters etc will be difficult. Budget of 200 for the speakers. He wants to amp them, but wants to get good speakers first. Running a damn good alpine HU with 3 preouts.

Would he consider building kickpods?

Neg on the kickpods, he wants something real basic. His main passion is off roading. He just wants something a little better then stock. He didnt even know waht kickpods were when i asked him.

if he wants somethin beter than stock, just get new speakers to replace the the ones he's got.


200 is not enough for 4 speakers PLUS an amp.

the jeep forums suck for anything not offroading
essentially were just looking for 4 5.25's not anything to do with jeep neccesarilly
