factory alarm question: 95 carmy

hey guys, i hav just been wondering how my alarm works, and what all has to be done for the thing to actually be set-off, like if a window gets broken will the alarm go, or just if the ignition is turned on, cause the only time it has gone off was when i remote locked the car when i got out, and then instead of remotly un-locking it, i just put my key in the door and unlocked it, then as soon as i started my car the alarm went off.

does anyone know, cause i wanna know how safe my stuff really is, ya know

my car is a 95 camry, and it's got what looks like a factory alarm, with toyota written all over it.

It doesn't have any shock sensors, it's as basic as you see. It should detect trunk getting opened as an intrusion when armed, besides from doors, and of course, it offers starter kill.
