Stock tweeters 95 camry - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

So, I have these stock tweeters in the door of my camary but when i put my ear up to them when the music is on I can't hear anything coming from them, are they that crappy or is something wrong? Im thinking of replacing them, with sometheing fairly cheap under 50$ any suggestions?

take out the door panel, check if the connections going to the tweet are still in tact. are you using the stock deck? if so, maybe check the stock amplifier under the passenger seat and see if the connections are still good there also.

i know what you mean the stock tweets are kinda drowned out by the mids, if you are gonna upgrade go ahead and buy a good receiver and/or amp and a decent set of comps, it will sound 100x better

When I got my car, my tweets weren't working either. My problem was that they had come off the magnet and I just needed to put them back on. Maybe it's the same for you, also check your connections.
