I have a 2005 camry SE w JBL system
I dunno how to connect wires to the line output converter to the JBL factory head unit... btw my pioneer amp has a speaker-level inputs and came with the speaker level input plug , should i use that instead the line output converter, if so how do i connect it?

Just take the speaker leads from the rear speakers and hook them up to the amp in the trunk. No need to touch the head unit. No need for a separate lin output converter if your amp already has it built in.

It should be very very easy to hook up the speaker wires to your amp, it should be labelled on the amp i.e. left right +, - Just make sure to use the right signals.

it will not be that easy because you have the JBL system, so you have a factory amp in the car. you're going to have to bypass that factory amp before hooking up this one.

actually yeah that makes sense, even if an amp is powering the speakers, the speaker level inputs are made for high-end signals.

What I did for my 04 Corolla was remove the head unit, cut the speaker wires, and ran four pairs of speaker wire from the head unit to my amp (two pairs for the both front left and front right speakers).

The four pairs are used to run the signals to your amp and then from your amp back to your front speakers.

I found out the correct color of the wires here:

http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Toyota-Wiring.pdf

but you may want to double check that because mine was a corolla and not a JBL system.

It was sort of confusing keeping track of which wire went to which channel and which was pos and neg, but it worked.

For the rear channels I just used the stock wires that went to my rear speakers and ran those to the amp.

If you already have a GOOD loc, like the David Navone piece or even better, one like the JL Cleansweep(probably not though) then use that. It will send a slightly cleaner signal and better voltage as well.

I would mount it close to the amp in the glovebox. <just be sure to not cut the speaker wires too short.

And if in the future you want to bypass the JBL amp and use an aftermarket CD player, check this out.

Just run wires from the rear speakers to the amp, the amp already has a built in high level input, Adjust the gain accordingly to match your stocks speakers. This is a no brainer job. Good luck
