ok i want a 4 channel amp that can put out about 120watts rms per channel and 2 channel amp that can push about or more then 750 watts rms at each channel. the 2 channel amp i need for my 2 kicker l7's that are 4ohms. how many ohms are the iridium 6.2 component speakers so i can get a amp that can give about 100 watts rms at there ohm level.
the most ill spend on both amps is about $1.00-$800.00
^ yea that kicker amp seems perfect but yea thanks for wishing my luck..lol...no i havent upgraded my alternator yet. soon i will. but how about a 750+ 2 channel amp
if i get 2 1 channel amps i have to get a custom amp rack for them cuase ill be running 3 amps
So did you decide on going with the DLS Irdium 6.2(2 way) or did you want to go with the 3 way with the dome midrange? 6.3?
They are 4 ohms btw.
My opinion. get the 6.3 set, an amp that will do at least 75 watts rms X4 and a seperate 2 channel amp that will do around 125 watts rms X 2
Run the 4 channel amp active, one channel to each tweeter, one channel to each dome midrange.
On the other two channel run each channel to each 6.5" midbass.
Are you still thinking about w7's? May I suggest two IDMAX's instead? Half the cost, I'd say the IDMAX has better SQ, while the W7 might get a little louder, the difference is that the IDMAX are alot more efficient.

yea im still going with the irdium 6.3 speakers on my camry but im putting everything that i have on my camry onto this accord that my dad just bought. we are going to put the 6.2's on the accord and the 6.3's on the camry. the camry will still have the 3 jl audio w7 13inch subs but im putting the 2 L7'S that it has right now into the accord. i need 2 new amps for the mids and subs. im currently running about 400watts to each kicker sub so i want a amp that can run them to there RMS.
the subs that im using are 4ohms dvc. there 2 kicker solobaric 12inch L7'S
i think im just going to have to run 2 seprate amps for the subs
Oh ok they're DVC, sweet that means you can wire them so the amp will see a 1 ohm load.
Look for an amp that will do 1300-1400 watts rms @ 1 ohm
Wire the subs like this
(option 1)
If you want to save some money you can get a Hifonics Brutus BX2005D, that will do a little less than 200 watts rms @ 1 ohm, just turn the gains down some, and it'll stay cool.
Less than 350 shipped on ebay.
An eD nine.1 will do 1200 watts rms @ 1 ohm. That's also around 350

A DLS A3 would be a nice match for the Iridiums. Or you can get a 4 channel amp and run them active, but if you don't have the right proccessing for the accord, I'd just go with a reg 2 channel.
How about an eD nine.2 for the 6.2's and an eD nine.1 for the Kicker L7's, that would be 100 watts rms X 2 to the 6.2's and 600 watts rms to each sub(1200 watts rms @ 1 OHm)
Or you can get the Nine.4 and run the 6.2's active.
i was also thinking of just getting 2 kx1200.1 and run one to each sub but since there rated at 1200watts rms at 1 ohm how many watts will the subs get since there 4 ohm?

That would be a waste of money and space. Each sub would have to be wired in series and you'd get a final 2 ohm load to each amp
You would be sending each sub 600 watts, which would be the same as using one of those amps and running it at 1 ohm, to get 1200 watts rms between the two of them(600 watts each)

You mean parallel.
4 ohm dvc sub wired in parallel = 2 ohms. If it were wired in series, you'd get 8 ohms.
