12v converter

I have neon lighting that can be used in a house inlet and i am wondering what kind of power converter i would have to use to wire it to the 12 volt in my car.
Thanks for any feedback,
Marc

their is not only the voltage you have to look for, cause if you want#s to run them on 12v you need more current then in normal use. i think you get it sheeper and more comfortable if you take some 12v neons than bougt or build a converter.

inverters are commonly available for cig light applications, so im sure that you could find one that would do the trick for bare wires. the thing to worry about is that you would be drawing alot more current
Watts=Volts x Amps
so even if it took 50watts, thats less then half an amp on the household circuit, and 4.16 on the car
