Canada how to replace the radio bulb?

Hey fellas (and ladies)

My stock radio bulb has blown. I took the dash cover off and tried to see if this was a simple pop off the cover and replace the bulb but it's not so easy once I did that.

anyone make suggestions on what type of bulb it is behind the LCD? And how the heck do I get to it? Searching TN I couldn't find any related threads.

'99 Corolla, with the stock Toyota brand tape/am-fm radio with CD controls.

Thanks.

You have to take apart the whole radio to change it. Probably not worth it unless you know exactly what you're doing. If you want to stay with a factory CD player you can usually find them very cheap off ebay.

Or you can get an entry level Pioneer cd player very cheap.
