Will a 6.5" overhead LCD screen fit on a 2005 Camry?

I was checking out some DVD players and I saw a Sony 6.5" Overhead LCD (The one where you mount it on the roof) for $700. I was wonderin if this would fit on a Gen 5 Camry without obstructing the view and stuff. OR should I go with the headrest LCDs?

you're gonna lose some view to the rear of the car...whether it is up or down, and it isn't a real tough job either...just gotta make sure to mount it to the center support

So, basically, a headrest LCD Screen is the better solution?

it would probably be a less expensive move, but as far as cosmetics, i think headrest monitors would look better in that car if you have the money to spend on them. The disadvantage to that is you have to find a place to place the DVD receiver (probably under the seat)

haha, no, but I do want kids in the near future. Umm, the reason why I want to do this is because when I'm at school, I'm bored and I usually sleep in the backseat. So, basically, it's for myself and my fellow passengers. I don't want the in-dash one. I want to keep the stock dash cd player, unless of course, I can customize the controls on the steer wheel to function with the aftermarket in-dash, then yes, I'll go for it. But, I don't want to put a in-dash dvd-player, because not only is it illegal in my area, it's distracting when i drive. I get distracted a lot and I don't want another thing to get me even more distracted.

If I do happen to get a aftermarket in-dash, I'll get the Carrozzeria from Pioneer. Import it from Japan. But they're hella expensive

This one goes around for $1998. CD-R, MP3, DVD-Audio, DVD-Video, VCD, CD-RW playable

The one I want to get:

The site: http://www.pioneer.co.jp/carrozzeria...va2/index.html

You can still use the factory controls if you get the PAC SWI-X module thingy.

Or if you get an Eclipse Unit, then it's just plug and play, and the steering controls still work.

If you do want to get that Pioneer, Scott Buwalda from www.buwaldahybrids.com imports Japanese decks.
