Question and Opinion

I just bought and installed a Pioneer DEH-P80MP. It looks cool and it plays mp3s...that was reallly my main concern. I bought it b/c i got it alot less then 399.

What does you guys think of it?

But it says it puts out 60 watts. But when i adjust my volume, it says 40w.

How would i change it? If i did would it damage my quality or speakers?

My friend said all my speakers were blown but one.

He installed 2 front speakers and tweeters....
he said the two front speakers he put in was 200 watts sound technique .... or somethign w/ a technique at the end
u guys heard of it? i trust his ass b/c i knew him since i was 10.

I don't know..i have a MR2 so i just want nice sound nothing like a crazy SUV w/ a gazillion watt system

Enlight me guys..i appreciate it

kudos on the deck choice.....very nice piece to have in a car, as far as the power....Pioneer's don't go up to 60 on the volume dial and the power rating for the 60w is at PEAK...normally you probably have it about 35wish. as for the components...no worry's it is decent stuff I beleive...again pay no attention to the 200w thing.....you"ll be fine. Should sound great

Yes and you can use the folders to organize your music. You'll be able to scroll through the folders and select the songs you wish to play.

That deck isn't very user friendly and is lacking many features/quality found in other decks in its price range.

It looks nice, but it gets obnoxious to use after a while and the novelty of it's appearance dies off pretty quickly.

I believe you can go 8 folders deep. You can have like 250 folders and can hold 100 songs per folder.

I believe that's what pioneer does. If you don't use a folder and just use the root directory you can store more mp3 files than you could ever fit on a disc. Something like 50k - 100k files.

You can put as many as you wish in the root directory and then make folders as well.

hey blazn...i have the same deck as u...u can make it to 60w....take out the deck...and just remove the harness...and then there's a switch at the bottom..it says 40 w and 60 w...u just simply put it to 60 w...connect back the harness..turn on the car..and its done
