amping factory crap

my fd who drives a RAV4, just got a amp from his bf, who knows NOTHING about cars... so she got this amp for her bday... now she comes to me and just shoves me the amp asking me who would I approach this...

so now i'm shoving this question to you guys...how would you amp factory speakers using factory deck...

i can sense complications....

What kind of amp is it?(brand and model #) Does the car still have the original speakers?

Look at the harness they are usually marked with the speakers on them, cut them away from the headunit and wire the amp into that. Do not wire it to the harness GOING INTO the head unit cause it will fry your head unit. Make sure its alkl the speaker wires going into the car.
