question about amp fuses

hey i am planning to use a 30 amp fuse to a infinity basslink which is a 20 amp fuse. Since the fuses dont match up, will it be a problem or is it okay? By having more power, does it make it easier to blow the fuse on the sub? thanks

The amp is fused at 20 amp for a reason. Dont replace the fuse with higher rated fuse. And what do you mean by "having more power" Installing a larger fuse doesn't mean the amp will produce more power. It was designed to produced maximum power within the fuse rating the manufacturer provides.

He said by having more power is it easier. And you have it backwards. By upping the fuse rating it will be harder to blow the fuse which is dangerous for your equipment. The fuse won't blow until it reaches 30 amps and at which point your basslink won't be working anymore.
