The amp wiring kit i am using has a 30 amp fuse on the power cable. Is it okay to power the basslink which is a 20 amp fuse on the amp? Will the 10 amp more on the fuse of the power line give it more than enough power causing the fuse on the amp to blow easier? thanks guys.

It won't make it blow easier, but it will make it so that fuse will blow first if your amerage exceeds 20 amps. This generally isn't a good idea. Get another 20amp fuse for the wire to make sure it blows before getting to your equipment.
