Amp in Protect mode

My friend had a mishap when he tried to install his bass tube into his car. We troubleshooted a few things and we tried to see if he had ruined his sub. So i drove my car close to his and connected my RCA's to his sub b/c his installation wasant done.

In the end the sub was fine and i helped finish the install but now my shit isnt working. When i turn the car on, my green LED (always green before this) is red. It is in protection mode. Itll be red for a few seconds when i turn on the car and then it goes to green, but i get no action from my subs.

Ive pretty much narrowed it to an RCA problem, what would cause it to do that, unplugging and replugging RCAs is what i did...

check the ground, you could have knocked out a connection when you were unplugging or replugging

get a "headphone jack to RCA" adapter and use a portable CD player to test it out. If the problem goes away, its the headunit or RCA lines.

That is exactly what happened to me , I was trying to run at 2 ohms but my amp wasn't stable at 2 ohms. So it didnt hit at all.
