SQ sub recommendation

Im looking for a 12" sub that can handle either 900watt @2ohms, or 500@ 4ohms, and that will sound as good as possible. Currently i have 2 12"s, but i dont really crank it up for the boom anymore, so i just want a really good sounding speaker to replace the 2 12's

I looked into IDQ's but id like to see what the other good options are. SQ is the most important part, im over the hear me comin from a mile away shit, i want what i hear to be worth hearing now.

Oz Audio Matrix Elite are another nice option.(check ebay 140 bucks) and will handle the power better than the IDQ's.

Don't get me wrong the IDQ's are some of the best SQ subs, but with your amount of power you would benefit more from two at 250 watts rms. Or an IDQ15 with 500 watts would be really nice. What's your budget?

yea, thats my problem, i was looking for speakers, but none of them have the power handling i want. i still want to be able to feel the bass.

I dont know if i have the room for a 15", but if i did, ive always thought 15's were too big to sound as good as 12's, this not true?

its an opinion thing....i dont like the way 15's or 10's sound
but some people think the opposite...some say only 15's can hit low enough
and others say 10's are "tighter"

Im putting 2 12's in my truck cause i like how 12's sound
make your own call listen to the speakers side by side and compare

ive only heard a 15 upclose once, and it was a Solo Baric L7, with about 1000 watt running to it, fucker rattled my teeth out, but thats about it.

I cant really get a side by side comparison of sound going, because all the shops here are pretty much owned by JL, thats all they sell, thats all they will recommend. there is one decent shop that is pretty unbiased, but they pretty much only carry Orion subs, they'll recommend other stuff, but thats all they have set up.

as far as budget goes, right now im just looking at what my options are, ill figure out how much i want to spend once i see whats out there. im a big fan of best value.
