05 runner (JBL 10speaker system) adding subs??

Hi everyone...
Im new.. to this site.. and to toyotas in general.. just about to get my hands on an 05, V8 sport, runner..

so anyways back to the topic..

ive got 2 JL W0's in a nice box and a JL 250/1 amp...
(outa my old car, the subs and amp are like a perfect match to eachother...)

since i havent had the chance to tear into the truck..
was wondering if anyone new if its posible to "steal" the signal for the facotry sub. and hook up my amp and subs... i belive that my JL amp will take a speaker level input... i think..

anyways.. just looking for some input...

i tired doing a search and coulnd find anything...
if im an idiot and im jsut asking the same questions as other in the past... sory...

Thanks!
-paul

The JL amps can take a speaker level input but you need their wires that they sell.

Another option is an adapter from www.davidnavone.com

Ok... so posibly a stupid question...
with either one of those options you showed me... they both have 4 wires... as in they need to connect to 2 speakers... am i right?...

soo.. I would only want to tap into the factory sub.. so would I just connect both pairs of wires to the one sub.... that way I'd be geting a 'mono' signal to my amp....
make sence to anyone else besides me....

(I cant wait till i can give my 4runner some good thumb)

..ok so if im right i answered my own question..

any input....

thx.
