Canada good 4" speakers?

hey i wanna up grade my stereo system in my 95 corolla it only came with a 2 speaker system i put a kenwood cd player in but its really old well same age as the car and it wont play CD-Rs and will some times reject cds but other then that it works ok better then what was there lol. well my question is i wanna get some new speakers for the car but dunno whats good i was looking at a pair of 4" 120 watt sonys for $60 at canadian tire but people have told me they are no good and wont last but my question is what is the best 4" speakers out there for a good price?

any help that you guys could give me would be awsome thanx

Depends what your idea of a good price is. For $60 you can't really expect much. If you ever decide to spend a bit more on speakers I'd suggest going with low end Alpine or Infinity. Their lower end speakers are typically around $100 (american). But will far out perform Sony speakers.

its hard to make a "good" 4" speaker
there will never be good bass response, theres just not enough cone to move the air

just go to a big electronics store and listen to what they have
your ear tells you what you like...go listen!!!!!
